Review: Blue Point Blueberry Ale

A Fruit Beer brewed by
Blue Point Brewing

Patchogue, New York USA

ABV: 4.6%

Best served in: A flute glass

I like one good blueberry beer a year. I hold the same rule true with pumpkin beers. This one made it about halfway there – not bad but not the one. A natural blueberry taste, not over processed as most tend to be. Dropped a few ‘real’ blueberries in there and it was very tasty. I’m sure you can imagine what the aroma and taste is like. A little light on texture on the palate – my one major complaint. It was not a hardy blueberry beer.

My ratebeer.com score: 2.9
