Reviews: Brooklyn Brown Ale

A Brown Ale brewed by
Brooklyn Brewery

Brooklyn, New York USA

ABV: 5.6%

Glassware: Pint Glass or Mug

Poured from a bottle into a pint glass. Poured a nice bronze/amber color – dark. The head was good but it faded away pretty fast. The smell is a bit chocolate, with a little nut and carmel. First taste is nice and full but it falls off a bit as it goes on. All in all a nice brown for someone who doesn’t quite love Browns. It isn’t all that complex or full flavored but it is satisfying. Strange, I know.

BeerAdvocate.com suggests pairing this with: Cuisine (Barbecue) Cheese (earthy; Camembert, Fontina, nutty; Asiago, Colby, Parmesan) General (Chocolate) Meat (Beef)

My ratebeer.com score: 3.4
